Behind every great project are people with vision and determination. At Gin Lom Chom Hill, that heart belongs to Samran and Fon. This is their story – a tale of love, resilience, and a shared dream of making a difference in their community.
Samran’s Journey:
Samran was born in Khon Kaen, a region where opportunities were scarce. His life changed dramatically at the age of 10 when he received the British Telecom Pestalozzi Scholarship, enabling him to study in the UK. For over 15 years, he lived and worked abroad, gaining skills and knowledge while always dreaming of giving back to his homeland.
In 2005, Samran returned to Thailand, bringing with him a deep commitment to uplifting his community. His roles as a Tourist Police Volunteer and close protection officer reflect his dedication to service. But his true passion lies in building Gin Lom Chom Hill.
Fon’s Role in the Vision:
Fon, Samran’s wife, is the backbone of Gin Lom Chom Hill. While Samran focuses on infrastructure, Fon manages the planting and landscaping, turning the land into a lush, thriving environment. Her attention to detail and love for nature are evident in every tree and flower she’s nurtured.
Their Shared Dream:
Together, Samran and Fon envision a place where:
- Tourists can connect with the natural beauty of Northern Thailand.
- Local children can learn valuable skills, like English and sustainability practices.
- Families in Nong Bua Lamphu can find meaningful work and hope for a better future.
